AthletesWork Leadership and Career Exploration Academy

At AthletesWork Academy (AWA) we train athletes for their academic and career paths using the same perseverance they rely on when playing in their sport. At AWA we transform athletes off the court or field into athletes of the classroom and soon the boardroom. Each student-athlete completes the program knowing how to capitalize on their transitional leadership skills in all settings.
With successful New Jersey business leaders as their guide, selected participants will explore a specific industry such as “The Business of Sports”, Social Media/Rich Media and/or Entrepreneurship. They will enter a new world of corporate culture where competition remains the name of the game. Each AWA All-Star will be granted a VIP pass to see what it’s really like to make it to the top of the business world first hand.
25 High-School and 15 Collegiate Student – Athletes will be selected for the program to:
PREPARE to use their strengths and leadership skills beyond athletics!
CONNECT to a peer and professional network locally and nationally.
EXPLORE specific industries and sectors where they can win big professionally!
Start every day like it’s a game day!
How to Apply:
Send completed application and $15.00 non-refundable application fee to info@athleteswork.com (PayPal accepted) or mail to AthletesWork P.O. Box 871 Tenafly, NJ 07670 *if selected $15.00 application fee will be applied to the program cost.
Requirements:
High-School and Collegiate Student-Athletes graduating in 2012 and 2013.
Program cost of $225.00 upon acceptance into the program *if selected need based scholarships are available
